Welcome to Aloha ‘Āina Seed Company. We are proudly committed to supporting local agriculture and business by being one of the largest suppliers of grass and cover crop seed to the Hawaiian islands and beyond.

Our work continues the legacy of Susan Owen, who operated Hawaiian Seed & Ranch Supply from 1986 – 1996, followed by Ko’olau Seed & Supply from 1996 – 2024 under mainland ownership. In 2024, Susan and her family were given the opportunity to bring the company’s ownership home to Hawaii. Aloha ‘Āina Seed Company was born.

We are a family-run company whose staff includes Susan (with her decades of experience and client relationships), Sterling Owen (her son, your new point of contact for orders and deliveries), Kea Gilbert (his partner, who helps with administration), and Athena (our daughter and cuteness ambassador).

It is our kuleana to support you by providing excellent customer service, a wide variety of quality seeds, and by connecting you with experts to guide you as you mālama ‘āina.
